We have an ESRB rating of T for Teen for Blood, Use of Alcohol, and Violence and a PEGI rating of PEGI 16 for Violence.

When is the launch date?

Is there a launch discount?
We will offer a 20% discount for one week after launch.

Do I get a discount if I own the original 2013 version of the game?
Accounts that already own the 2013 version of Brothers on Steam and Epic can get a bundle discount when purchasing the Remake. Look for the bundle purchase option to get the discount.

Do the launch discount and the discount for owning the original game stack?
Both the launch discount and the bundle discount stack.

Which platforms are supported?
The Brothers Remake can be played on PC (Steam, Epic, GOG), PS5 and Xbox X/S.

Will the game release on Switch?
We do not have plans to port the game to Switch at this time.

Who is the Developer and Publisher of the Remake? The Brothers Remake developer is AvantGarden, a development studio located in Italy. AvantGarden is a subsidiary of 505 Games who is the publisher of the game.

Why a Remake?
The original Brothers game has recently celebrated its ten year anniversary, it felt appropriate to update the game to modern day specs so a new generation can experience the story.

What parts of the game have been remade?
The remake features updated environments, high-quality rendering, completely remade landscapes and volumetric fog and lighting. New secrets have been added and additional lore to discover.

Characters have been remodeled based on the original concept art and include a wide array of expressions, high-res textures and a completely new animations.

Music has been re-recorded with a live orchestra to bring your adventure to all new heights.

New achievements have been added.

The Remake has been developed by the team at AvantGarden. Josef Fares has endorsed the game and has been consulted throughout development.

How many players can play?
The Remake supports single-player and two person local co-op.

Is Steam Remote Play Together enabled?
If you own the game, you can invite a friend to play local co-op via Remote Play Together.

Is mouse and keyboard supported on PC?
The game supports mouse and keyboard on PC. However, if you are playing co-op, at least one controller is required.
